Each Thai Yoga Massage session is carried out in a meditative mood and in the spirit of compassion and loving kindness to honour the ancient tradition. The intention is to bring about complete relaxation in a peaceful and non-judgmental environment while encouraging you to let go of any tension and stressful thought patterns so that you may be able to open your heart to new possibilities.
Treatments are carried out with you fully clothed and lying either on a mat on the floor or on a massage table. For your own comfort I recommend you wear long tracksuit bottoms or yoga pants and a long sleeved t-shirt.
The treatment starts with a gentle foot massage followed by deep tissue massage and passive stretches to the whole body ending with a soothing massage to the head and face.
Traditionally it’s believed that most energy blockages happen within the legs, therefore you will find that a lot of time will be spent working on this area of your body in order to restore the free flow of energy.
Although very up close and personal a Thai Yoga Massage treatment is always carried out in a respectful and non-intrusive manner.
Hands, elbows, feet and knees are all used to reach those pesky acupressure points and I promise you that a Thai Yoga Massage treatment is the only time in life when it’s good, in fact really good, to be walked all over. Literally.
By the end of the treatment you will feel like a new person and people around you will notice that you are more relaxed and with a chilled attitude.

If you heard stories from various people about Thai Yoga Massage being excruciatingly painful and the closest thing to legalized torture let me assure you that this is complete B.S.
A properly qualified Thai Yoga Massage practitioner has to undergo thorough and rigorous training over a period of several months and be able to demonstrate her or his ability to work with complete sensitivity towards their clients. As a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapist I have been trained by the best in the industry to the highest standards with my clients’ safety and wellbeing always in mind.
